OOTD | Stone

Woah, is that me not wearing all black? Holy moly! Haha! Recently I've been liking more 'earthly' colours. Stone/grey/beige especially. Black is still my all time safe favourite but the only other colours I find I suit are all natural earthly shades. This outfit is so comfy & casual as well as being a touch dressy also! They're my favourite kind of outfits, that way you can never feel too under or overdressed as it's a perfect balance of both! Heels always make me feel more lady-like & dressy & I've been living in them all day most days recently. It's about time I make use of my huge collection of courts, considering they're my most bought kind of shoe! :)

Fake Septum Ring

Don't you just love these!? I'm too much of a wuss to get it as an actual piercing & it's not my usual style.. So I decided to get the fake ones! :D I literally picked these up from eBay for around £2-£3 - bargain! These ones are the 8mm gold plated & silver ones modelled by myself with the gold & by my beautiful little niece with the silver! You can find them by typing '8mm fake septum ring' into the search engine on eBay, pretty straight forward really! They're also not uncomfortable in the slightest which is a bonus. In fact, you can barely even tell it's there unless it decides to tickle you now & then! Haha! What do you think? I want to buy some more fancier ones, I just got these plain ones to be on the safe side for now but I've seen some really beautiful Bollywood style ones, eek!

Christmas Eve Lunch

Eek it's almost Christmas! Well, it's Christmas Eve! :D To me, Christmas is about spending it with people you love & as I don't have much family, I spend it with a lot of my friends too. Friends are family to me :) All of these lovely ladies above are my work girlies so we headed straight to a local wine & cocktail bar for lunch when they finished work at 2pm. I literally got back from Chester at 1:35pm, put my stuff in the house & got back in the car & raced back to meet them - of course they was worth the dash ;) We all treated ourself to a prosseco as it was one of the girl's last shift at our place, waa we'll miss you Hannah! :( & got something to eat too! I decided to go for the mozzarella & tomato panini, how flipping delicious does that look? Oo wee!!! :D After we ate I had to nip off & get some last minute things done for Christmas, I am ALWAYS last minute, absolutely always! But, I got it all done in the end - woohoo! :D Are you guys all set for Christmas this year? :)

Chester

HELLO CHESTER! Omg I adore this city. We've visited here a number of times over the years & we still love going. Matthew decided to take me to The Village hotel for 2 nights which was a much needed break, cutie isn't he!? :) We just chilled out this time really. Normally we're up & out & exploring as if we're in another flipping country haha! But we just had a nice stroll around, did a bit of shopping & watched movies in the room; perfect considering there was a Starbucks station in there ;)

Starbucks Date

I've had the perfect girls day today! As you can see from my previous post I had my nails done again by the fabulous Kelly, which always makes me feel better :) Afterwards, I picked up my gorgeous little but taller than me niece & we headed to The Trafford Centre for some shopping & a hot chocolate. I absolutely idolise her! <3 I only managed to pick up 2 new pair of jeans & a jumper, which I guess is good for me considering I always go shopping & come back with nothing - boring! So I guess I could say it was a success! :D I'm about to get ready now for a night at shisha with my be sty Rochelle & chill out for the night! Enjoy your saturday senoritas! :D

Glitter Nails

In. Actual. Love. Again. Every time Kelly never fails me! Went for something simple as always with a touch of festive sparkle! :D If you haven't already noticed by now, I always have something plain & simple as I like the elegant look but I like to switch it up with a tad of bling or glitter so these are perfect! Kelly just used a pink acrylic along with the same acrylic mixed in with a bit of the glitter & faded it in. Absolutely love them! Thanks Kel you're a babe! <3 Kelly's instagram - @kelly__nails

Favourite Perfume | Juicy Couture

Mm mmm!! I absolutely adore sweet smelling perfumes. In fact, I will only wear ones that literally make me want to eat my arm off when I spray it on there.. Okay, slight exaggeration! But y'see where I'm coming from right? :D I still will never understand perfumes that smell of flowers & stuff. I mean, it sounds pretty to smell like a flower, but I'm yet to smell a flower that hasn't made my nose scrunch up because it actually doesn't smell that good.. But hey, I guess it's all down to personal preference right? :) Anyway, back to the post.. I always go off track, I talk too much *covers face*. The taller bottle; Couture Couture, is my all time FAVE, it genuinely smells like sherbet, flipping delicious!! I've been using this perfume for years now, I remember getting my first bottle of it on my 18th along with the shower gel & body cream, loveee! The smaller bottle; Viva La Juicy is a slightly stronger smell but still has that sweetness to it! I also have Viva La Juicy in the small roll on size which is pictures above with a lip gloss on the opposite side, even the lip gloss smells beautiful & it's a gorgeous tone of pink too - winner! Another reason I love this perfume is it's just so girly & pretty to look at. I'm not usually a huge lover of pink (says me in my pink spotty pi's) but I like pink stuff in small doses, like on these bottles :) One more point about these fragrances before I bring this post to an end is.. They do last well also! I find I don't have to drown my self in it 20 times a day to smell good - bonus! What are your favourite perfumes & are there any you like that smell as delicious as these? Please let me know! :D

Christmas Party Nails

Kelly does it again!! Flippin' ADORE these nails!! I think they're my favourite yet! As always, I stuck to something simple like the classic 'French' but switched it up again by having a different style of it. Also decided to go with a touch of gold on the ring ringer & opposite & also a dark silver rhinestone on each nail. It's my Christmas party this Sunday so wanted to have my nails a little more sparkly than usual! :) Kelly matched the gold glitter to the exact colour of my dress that I had planned to wear from Lasula Boutique. The dress is stunning! However, slightly too long for my short ass 5"2 body, so it doesn't look so clever on me! (I got my nails done before the dress arrived if you're wondering why I got matching nails to a dress I'm now not even wearing!) However! I ALWAYS accessorise any outfit with gold so I'm sure my nails will still look fabulous with whatever I wear. They even look fabulous with the bright pink PJ's I'm wearing whilst typing this post ;) haha! Once again, Kelly, you were fabulous! <3 How to contact Kelly: Instagram - @kelly__nails (2 underscores that is!) SUNdays salon number - 0161 773 0301 (that's where she works)

Annabelles Wigs

Let me just start with, I LOVE THIS WIG! I never thought I'd ever even try a wig, yet alone love one! But when I got the opportunity to try out a 3/4 head wig from Annabelles Wigs with great thanks to Blogging Gals, I fell in love. A few girls were given the challenge of trying out 3 different styles with this wig, as you have already seen, mine are shown above. I love how it looks on all of the looks & it's easy to style too. As it is synthetic though, you can't use heat on it. At first I was like, holy crap, what am I going to do with no heat!? But with it already being curly, the curl holds so there's no need for heat at all - fabulous! Also, quick tip on something you may want to try when you put your wig on for the first time; you may want to brush it for awhile & maybe add a touch of dry shampoo to reduce the shine. However, I must say, with never even trying synthetic hair before, I'm impressed that it looks pretty darn good! I even worn it out last night as well & had plenty of compliments on how voluminous my hair looked! It does add A LOT of volume, especially if you choose the wig I chose which can be found on the website - www.annabelleswigs.co.uk. Mine is the dark brown curly wig. So for me, that's always a bonus. Big, bouncy, curly hair is always a winner for me! So once again, thank you to Annabelles beautiful Wigs & the fabulous ladies at Blogging Gals for letting me be apart of this challenge!

Looks explained:
1. Back comb your fringe/bangs as well as the front of the wig, bobby pin where feels comfortable for your desired look & also lightly back comb the rest of the wig.
2. Side plait both your fringe/bangs mixed in with the front of the wig & also take a bobby pin to secure in place.
3. With your fingers, grab all of the wig & pull up to where ever you want your pony tail to sit & secure with a bobble. I went for the high, messy pony tail to compliment the curls in the wig! :)

Drugstore Bargains

Who doesn't already know I love a good bargain? Anybody? Thought not! XD There's nothing more satisfying that finding products that work just as well as high end ones & for a fraction of the price too! All of these products are fantastic! Especially the Barry M lip liners. I must admit, I prefer them to my MAC ones.. They go on so much smoother & are a lot more pigmented in my opinion. I don't know if that's just because my MAC liners are nude colours so I'm not reaping the benefits of how pigmented they really are or if they're actually just pretty crappy but get away with it because of the name. Who knows, either way, good pigments, smooth application & £2.99 sounds good to me! :D I can't for the life of me see anywhere on them liners where there is a shade name & it's driving me insane.. Maybe that's why they're cheaper O_O haha! However, there is a number on them so I'll write them at the bottom of the post in case that's them. As you can see in the picture as well, I've already used 2 of the liners, as mentioned in my previous post, I wore them 2 colours on the picture. As for the other products, I haven't got a picture swatching them as for some reason they didn't save to my camera & it's pretty dark now so the lighting sucks so I can't even really re-take them.. But I'm sure you'll see them on upcoming posts shortly! The greeny/blue eyeliner is similar to the MAC one I wore in a picture a few posts back & it's practically identical, again, a fraction of the price! (Wow, I sound like I'm really slating MAC here when in fact, I adore their products! Just love a bargain too haha!) & as for the lipsticks, gorgeous colours, applies nicely & cheap also. I'll list all prices & shades of what I know below.

Barry M lip liners - £2.99 9, 6 & 1
2True eyeliner - £1.99 in shade No.4 Green
NYC Lipsticks - £1.99 in shades 444 & 440

Diva Light

I don't know if you can notice them pretty little circle lights in my eyes? Yes? Well, if so, that would be my 'Diva Light' :D I've had this amazing light almost a year now & I have NO idea why I've hardly used it recently, it's incredible! Especially for making pictures super bright & crystal clear, love it! Now that I've re-discovered just how fabulous this light actually is, I'm going to try & post more makeup looks a bit more frequently! :) Lighting is everything for good images & without it, things just don't show up as they appear. I've recently bought a few new lip liners & lipsticks & I'm wearing one of them in the picture above so I'll be sure to blog about it soon. I posted this photo on my Instagram the other day & I was asked a number of times what my lip colour was so I'll definitely post about it shortly! Anyway, back to the light.. I'm not sure if this is available to buy in the UK as I know mine was shipped from the USA but I promise you though, it's worth the wait! :)

bareMinerals Truffle Lipstick

I freakin' LOVE this lipstick! This is the lipstick I'm wearing in my previous post, absolutely gorg or what!? Georgia saved my life giving me this one, adore it! As stated in the title, it's from bareMinerals & the colour is Truffle. The name alone makes me love it, haha! But anyway, onto talking about the actual lipstick & not me rambling on how much I love it oops! :) This lipstick goes on beautifully, it's super pigmented & it stays on really well, it smells good too! That's always a bonus with me, I hate horrible smelling makeup - yak! I'm not too sure how much this lipstick is or whether it's still available as I've looked on the bareMinerals website & I can't find it :( But I looked on eBay for you guys & it's available between £8-£15, not too bad really! It's such a beautiful colour & I think it'd suit most skin tones too. I really think bareMinerals is so underrated. I don't think people give them enough credit at all, I mean, I can't talk, I won't lie & pretend I shop there all the time but when I do, I'm always happy. It's nice to go to a more high end makeup place sometimes & treat yourself, it's always worth it! :) I'm thinking of trying their foundation again, I remember when I got their 'starter kit' thingy & I loved it... Until I lost it :'( I must purchase again soon! Have any of you tried bareMinerals? If so, what are your favorite products? :)

Makeup Night

I had so much fun last night! Me & my Mum headed to our friend, Georgia's place & got out all of our makeup & chatted away for hours. Girls & their makeup hey!? Haha! One problem is, is that, I was all caught up in the conversation, putting it all on my face & taking selfies that I forgot to take pictures of all the makeup & what I used on my face - oops! But don't worry, we've decided we'll do it again some night soon & actually take pictures to show you all & talk about our favourite products! I can't even remember what I put on my face either because I was just going crazy trying new things! Hope you all like my selfie to make up for it.. :D haha! Georgia has the most amazing makeup collection as well, I'm mortified I didn't take pictures to show you all! However she did give me a new lipstick she doesn't wear which is shown on the picture above so I'll sure to take pictures of that, up close & personal soon & shown you all! ;D haha!

Where Have I Been?

Oopsie! I've been gone way too long! Well, it's only been a couple of weeks but it feels like forever! I've been having computer dilemmas which has resulted in me not being able to get onto my computer :( In the end it was something as simple as.. Some of the letters on my keyboard stopped working, super annoying! However, at first I was thinking the worst, I was thinking I had a virus or something & I was going to have to delete everything! But I just needed a new keyboard, so after trying another keyboard to discover the 'A' button didn't work, I hunted down another.. It may be a horrible, old school giant curved Microsoft keyboard but I guess it does the trick! Haha! I gotta admit I do miss the sleek white & silver Apple one.. This is too hard to get used to again! Some buttons are different & copying & pasting is different.. Hate simple changes it drives me mad! Haha! Anyway.. Now I have a temporary keyboard I'll be back on track! Hope you guys haven't missed me too much ;)

Gothic Makeup

I just love a gothic makeup look! I so wish I was brave enough to just go out in public wearing it. I always think I look 'over-done' when I put a full face of makeup on where as in reality, I probably just look like every other girl who wears makeup. I dunno, maybe I should stop being so lazy every day & start wearing more makeup! :D Anyway, back to the post.. I used the colours from my £4 Revolution makeup palette to achieve this look along with a black sparkly one from MAC (I don't know the colour - sorry!). It was pretty simple to do really, it's all about layering up the colours I guess. It's so hard to explain on a blog post how I do my makeup, but I promise it's simple! You know me, I never even know what kind of brushes I use which just shows how 'professional' I am! Haha! Ah well, that's why I like doing my blog, to show you guys that there is still people out there than can do makeup & make a blog, even if you don't know how to do everything the 'right' way! ^_^ Maybe I'll make a video tutorial on my YouTube channel when I finally get back to it! Every time I get the motivation for it, something sets me back, but I'll get there! :D Would you guys like to see me back on YouTube? :)

Mini Superdrug Haul

*See's 3for2 offer through Superdrug window.. Can't resist walking in* < That's exactly what happened to me Saturday morning when I went into Superdrug. Gets me every time! Haha! But to be honest, I needed some new little bits, foundation especially so I made the most of the offer! I mentioned not long ago I wanted to try a new foundation as I've always wore MAC Fix Fluid since I was like 18. Although I love it, I was getting a bit bored, us girls love faffing about with new products so I opted for the Bourjois 123 Perfect in shade 54 Beige. I must admit I LOVE this foundation, looks flawless on the skin & has a beautiful consistency! The only thing I don't like is the shades. I find most drugstore foundations are either orangey or pink & my skin is more yellow. Well, not Simpson yellow of course haha! But that's why I usually stick to MAC as their tones are perfect for my skin. It seems to match as I put it on & then dries a slightly different colour, it's still wearable & no one would probably notice but it's just me being a typical girl that notices every thing that they think is wrong! I also ended up buying another Kate Moss lipstick thinking it was a new shade to me, only to find out it's the same shade I did a post on last year - oops! Ah well, I've obviously lost it for me to not notice I was buying the same one haha. I also ended up buying fake tan for the first time in 2 years!! God knows why I hate the stuff! But I guess I wanted to be super brown for Saturday night considering I was whipping the legs out ;) It was actually a really nice tan colour, not orangey at all & to say it was only £3.99 as well, not bad! Love a good bargain I do! :D Anyhow, I think the offer is still on so head down to your local Superdrug to make use of the 3for2! :D

Health Kick's Back!

Good morning! Excuse my mini disappearance over the weekend, one was enjoying late birthday celebrations! ^_^ But there's no excuses now my birthday has gone not to get back into my healthy lifestyle! I was doing really well at the beginning of this year & then things happened to set me back & now I'm on it again! :D I've also got my Mum on it too ;) We decided to have something simple for breakfast along with a bottle of water & a green tea with lemon. I did want to make us a nice omelette (I'm the omelette master if I do say so myself!) but we didn't have enough eggs in so I'll make that for us tomorrow! So instead, a couple sausages & a fried egg had to do; bacon for my Mum also but I can't stand the stuff ha! :) I'm also going back to the gym tonight with my best friend Robyn. She recently got engaged to her boyfriend, on my birthday actually! Double celebrations all round!! :D So we're back to the gym to get us bride & bridesmaid ready! Insanity here we come!!! #determination

London

Let me just start with.. I absolutely LOVE London! :D The last time I visited was last Christmas & I loved it as much as I did then, now. Me & my friend Tilly went to visit our friend Rourke the day after my birthday as a little birthday shin-dig & of course a catch up! We was only there a night & a day so we didn't get chance to do much but with what time we did have we enjoyed ourselves! :) On the first night we went for tea & then bowling afterwards which was fun, I haven't bowled in agesss! After that we just went back to Rourke's apartment, got in bed, watched TV & went to sleep so we was fresh for the next day! :D Our day was quite spontaneous to be honest, let me tell you why now! Well, we was casually strolling across South Bank to head to a cute little pancake shop when a guy from ITV dashed over to us & asked if we wanted to be in the live audience for Loose Women that day. We all just looked at each like "uh yeahhh, pancakes will HAVE to wait!" haha! So in we went, we sat down & next minute the show started. It all happened so fast that we couldn't quite believe it but it was good :) Alsoooo, we got offered tickets for another show for helping out. So we chose Alan Carr's Chatty Man so be sure to keep an eye out for us on in the next few weeks ;) haha! After the show, we finally headed for pancakes; which were SO delicious may I add & then carried on to Spittalfields market. Omg I loved it there! The stalls were so cute & vintage looking, I love that kinda stuff, especially the old perfume store where they had a collection of Chanel perfumes - beaut! I wish we would have went for longer so we could have done more but I'm sure Rourke won't mind us visiting her again soon, right Rourke? ;) haha! Ahh so miss it already & we only got back early hours of this morning. If I don't move abroad one day, London is where it's at! :D

The Curls Are Back!

Well hello there curly mop! It's been awhile since I've seen you! :) For some reason I've had my hair straight for quite a bit now so I thought it was time the curls returned! I love wearing my hair curly, it's so much easier to maintain. People often complain that curly hair is hard to maintain but I prefer it. Reason being, it can be a big mess & it still looks good! Or at least looks like it's supposed to be like that.. Where as with straight hair, if it's not fully straight, there's a problem! Ain't no body got time for kinks! Haha :D I wanted it have it curly sooner but I liked having curls in my hair done with the GHD's & that's impossible to do from curly hair so I've had it straight so I had more options. But, the curly hair will probably be back for a bit now - we'll see! :D For anyone wondering how I get my hair like this, it's with the Lee Stafford Chopstick Styler - check it out you'll love it!!♡

Awww my Uncle only came round & made me breakfast in bed didn't he!? How frickin' cute!? He bought that little tray & everything! These are the things that make birthday's or any day special! My Uncle Kev knows I love a good sausage & egg butty in the morning, so to say he came here this morning, made it & brought it up for me was just really nice, he even put 2 little roses on the side for me, aww! Thanks Uncle Kev, you're a bloody star!! :D

I'm Feeling 22!

Well, today I woke up a year older! 22! Blimey I feel old, it was literally only the other day I was 12! Okay, obviously it wasn't only the other day, but it sure does feel like it! :O Momma came in my room as soon as she got up & started snapping away at me reading all my birthday messages from everyone on my phone, what's she like ay!? I love reading birthday messages, especially in cards. I'm such a geek like that! I prefer thoughtful things than material things so reading memories & nice words off everyone I love makes my day! :D My Mum's & my Brother's card made me want to cry, so thought I'd share them with you. My brothers was short & sweet but the fact he put "from your hero x" at the bottom got to me! He knows he's always been my hero & he's pretty much always the first person I want when I'm sad :) & well my Mum, my Mum is my bestest friend in the whole world & she always makes me smile with the things she says. Love you Mum if you're reading & love to everyone who has sent me birthday wishes today, love you all & see most of you later! :D♡
